The Sheridans at Work Again: The Wallace Manuscript of The Siege of St Quintin

Tom Lockwood

The University of Birmingham

   Abstract

This article follows on from and completes the account of the manuscript texts of Theodore Hook's play, The Siege of St Quintin, and the revisions made to them by R.B. and Tom Sheridan, offered in my earlier article, ‘The Sheridans at Work’. This article reports and describes a newly recovered manuscript of Act III of Hook's play, now owned by Randall Wallace of Edmonton, Canada, and unknown on publication of the earlier article.
